Aritz Aranburu is one of the Spanish surfing idols, being the first and only Basque and Spanish surfer to be included in the top 45 surfers in the world (WCT 2007). YOW designed Aritz’s signature surfskate entirely according to his wishes and ideas. The YOW surfskates are ideal when it comes to realistically transferring the unique feeling of surfing to the street.

Riding style
The movement on the YOW board is so similar to that on a surfboard that it acts as a surf trainer, as you directly learn the posture and weight shift required for surfing. 

The YOW System
The wide turn of the front truck allows extremely tight turns. The YOW Meraki (V5) surfskate system comes with a fully re-engineered design of the front truck. All dispensable parts of the old YOW system got removed without changing the patented spring system. The essential parts of the front truck have been reinforced, while additionally reducing the overall weight.

Setup
The trucks and wheels perfectly fit the size of the deck. The soft wheels provide excellent grip and speed, even on rough surfaces.​
