This Magic Carpet was first introduced as a prototype by Whitegold Snowboards and was further developed and refined by Bataleon over the past seasons. The result was a completely new triple base shape, the Twin Pow 3BT™ : a wide symmetrical board with maximum 3BT at both ends, which increases the contact area. This allows you to ride a shorter length than conventional powder boards and still enjoy a huge float.

Riding style
The Magic Carpet is a fun machine for powder. For all those who don’t just ride straight down the slope. Absolute manoeuvrability and playfulness with absolute stability and mega float. But this powder grenade also cuts a grand figure in the park.

Shape
The unique Twin Pow 3BT™ shape is a true twin with shortened triple base sections. You can screw your bindings on centrally or with setback, depending on whether you are riding switch in powder or just want to cruise. The new SideKick™ tips increase edge lift at the widest points of the nose and tail for even easier turn initiation, more float and better handling in difficult terrain.

Profile
Twin Pow 3BT™ has a narrow centrebase like the Freeride 3BT’s, but huge lateral edge lift outside the bindings. This increases the contact surface and the Magic Carpet can be ridden wider and shorter. Float in all directions and a fully loaded medium camber.

Flex
The Magic Carpet has a medium flex. This keeps it very manoeuvrable in powder. The necessary stability and sufficient pop are generated by vertical carbon strands.

Construction
The core of 70 % poplar wood and 30 % paulownia is additionally reinforced with light and strong Tri-Ax fibreglass. This makes the board extremely stable and gives it powerful pop. Vertical carbon reinforcements are built in from the inserts to the ends. This keeps the snowboard flexible between the bindings and powerful at tip and tail for fat ollies. The extruded Super Slick X base is extremely durable, fast and requires almost no maintenance.
